Dears,
-L/C requires original EX1/EXA document but we are beneficiary in Turkey and are not capable of giving EX1/EXA.
-L/C says : Documents English or French are acceptable.
Does EX1/EXA mean Single Administrative Document (Export Clearance Document being transacated at exporter country's customs) ? If so, Single Administrative Document (SAD) does not show any word like EX1/EXA. and Turkish SAD document is written in Turkish..
/ What is opinion of UCP or ICC for such point?
/ Would EX1/EXA automatically mean any Export Document?

Hi Pal,
the same document are required by Algerian Bank for export from Italy, the document it is only issued in italian language and l/c request documents in french or english.
But the l/c does not specify the issuer and the wording of sucg document, so it is possible to
pesent a paper indicating EX1/EXA, containing all details and data, MRN included.
The issuing bank will not be in the position to reject such document.
However you may ask for an amendment.
Let us know!

Hi Picant,
Thanks for your quick helo appreciated.
Actually, I gave a call to applicant for the document by sharing a draft transit export document (SAD), they said it looks ok for our bank.
L/C still requeires a document EX1/EXA, but in use it is SAD document originally. and will be Turkish..
Have a nice day

The opinion of UCP and ICC is if L/C doesn't mention the party about issuing a stipulated document or certificate, the beneficiary can produce it.
