depends on the LC terms
it depends on the LC terms. if LC is silent on the issue, its acceptable. i think ISBP paragraph 89 is very clear on the issue.

additional fraight costs on B/L
In my opinion, it doesn't constitute discrepancy if L/c is silent on additional freight cost. Bank only check the document to determine the compliance with L/C terms and condition, UCP and ISBP. Other relating outside, Banks shall disregard.
