IS LC NUMBER MANDATORY

Hi,
COULD ANYONE HELP ME TO THIS?
IS LC NUMBER MANDATORY IN COMMERCIAL INVOICE EVEN THE LC DOES NOT REQUIRE PARTICULARLY TO MENTION THIS?
IF SO WHY IT IS OR NOT WHY IT ISN'T?

no is not
if L/C required L/C Number to be mentioned on all documents then its a must as it is one of L/C conditions that need to comply with, otherwise no it should not

If Lc requires Lc No. to be mentioned then it is mandatory else the same is not required.
