HI,
our organization has an LC on the supplier of goods and the BL will be switch in favor of customer at Port of Discharge
This customer does not want LC NO. on the BL as our deal is not on LC terms with him
As per UCP 600, is it possible to show LC no. in Notify Party, coz while switching the shipping line cannot change desc. they can only change the shpr/cnee/ntfy
LC No. on the BL

Hi Pal,
A requirement for the insertion of a credit number on document is only to assist in tracing documents should they go astray, so in any part of the bill of lading will be quoted, it is enough to trace the L/C. Then, notify party will be aware when vessel arrive at destination, if ship agent will act accordingly.

How about just
writing the lC number with a pencil so that it can be erased if required.
