Dear all,
In bill of lading transhipment mentioned but insurance policy silent about transhipment .as per lc terms Transhipment is allowed but insurance clause silent about transhipment risk.
Whether we can raise discrepancy?

Regards.

Hi Pal,

I dare say that transhipment in insurance document has not the same meaning than Art 20 UCP 600.
However the insurance document must cover the goods 'risk, at least, for the routing indicated in the credit, including the ordinary course of transit.
The from warehouse to warehouse clause, called Transit clause, is present in Institute Cargo Clause
A, B and C. with the same effect(even if this fact does not refer to UCP 600).
Other comments appreciated
