Dear all,
I have a new issue and need your usual help and advice. while examining one same bill of lading, we have found two carriers on the bill of lading.
Can we raise this as adiscrepancy? If yes, what is the correct wording of the discrepancy
The format in bill of lading
1-‘entity’ as carrier
2-‘signed entity’ the carrier

Best Regards
Ahmed

I think you can raise it as discrepancy: BL show inconsistent carrier's name on its face. A BL can be issued by only 1 carrier, that served as the contract of carriage between a carrier and the consignor. Ho

Hi,
I think we can raise the discrepancy: bill of lading is not signed in accordance with art 20, ucp 600- signed by the carrier (named carrier, not carriers) or master or a named agent of that entity.

Need to see this bill of lading...
