Notify party can be as many as you wish to add in b/l. The name of applicant in b/l is permitted in notify colomn .as per ISBP para no. E14A & B.

Article 38 g
The name of the first beneficiary may be substituted for that of the applicant in the credit.
If the name of the applicant is specifically required by the credit to appear in any document other than the invoice, such requirement must be reflected in the transferred credit.

other comments are appreciated.

Hi,
.
You may indicate more than one party, as per ISBP para E14.a:
"when a credit stipulates the details of one or more notify parties, a bill of lading, may also indicate the detail of one or more additional notify parties"

Dear experts,

Please advise the reason for having for explicit information in the LC(articlet 38g)

We have first beneficiary requesting to delete the applicant name and address mentioned in the BL while transferring the LC to second beneficiary through second beneficiary's bank.

As a first beneficiary bank also nominated to transfer the LC by issuing bank, has such rights to delete the LC content despite article 38g allowing to only to reduce.

Article 38 g
The name of the first beneficiary may be substituted for that of the applicant in the credit.
If the name of the applicant is specifically required by the credit to appear in any document other than the invoice, such requirement must be reflected in the transferred credit.

Thanks &Regards
