Hi,
I have a question about the obvious typing errors on letter of credit.
For example, port of discharge is written as "ABNGKOK, THAILAND" instead of "BANGKOK, THAILAND" (B and A is written visa versa due to fast typing). So in that case, will that be ok to write it on documents as "BANGKOK, THAILAND" without asking for amendment for it, or must we ask for an amendment?
I belive that these kind of "obvious" typing errors do not cause discrepancy if they are not amended and written correctly. What do you think?
Looking forward to your opinions...
Thanks,
Bilge

OBVIOUS TYPING ERROR
Of course it's a typing error. I would not consider this as a discrepancy. A little bit of common sense must prevail in situations like this.
