Dates on FCR
If FCR is presented, there are usually three dates, cargo received date, shipped on board and date of issue. All of them can differ from each other. Which one should be judged as date of shipment if the L/C does not stipulate?

Forwarder's certificate of receipt
Hi Pal,
as per point 19 ISBP 681 FCR is not a carrier type transport document, so if called for in an l/c it must be expressely stated the date required. e.g. in field 48 MT700 : Documents must be presented within 21 days from the date of Issuance / or on board notation/ or goods taking up of FCR
