Para 13 ISBP 681 states: "Drafts, transport documents and insurance documents must by dated even if a credit does not expressly so require". If a B/L only have a shipped on board date, does it meet the requirement that transport documents must be dated?
I highly appreciate yr opinion in this case. Many thanks.

Date on transport documents
Hi
In my opinion, besides the onboard date, the BL should also bear a issue date, because on board date is not the date of the transport document. It is that date the goods have actually left the port.
