I kindly ask your opinions on the following question. A letter of credit called for: "a full set (3/3) of original clean shipped on board ocean bill of lading made out to order of XYZ bank, ABC branch. marked "Freight prepaid" and notify the applicant"
The Bill of lading presented included the following information:
Consignee: XYZ bank, ABC branch
28A Dien Bien Phu, Hanoi, Vietnam
Does it constitute discrepancy when B/L show additional address of consignee which is not required and also not mentioned in L/C?
In fact, XYZ bank, ABC branch locates in 35 Hai Ba Trung, Hang Bai, Hanoi, Vietnam instead of in 28A Dien Bien Phu, Hanoi, Vietnam. Whether is adding the inexact address of ABC discrepant? If yes, what's the ground for quoting this discrepancy?
The addition of Consignee's address on B/L

ucp 14 d
in your case
according to ısbp681 parag 101 b/l must be made out to order of XYZ bank, ABC branch.
so it is a discrepancy issued consigned to XYZ bank
as you know the name and adress is very important on B/L ş may be acceptes as discrepancy as per ucp 14 d
