Hi Pals
L/C is calling for "Shpper certficate stating vessel's age not more than 25 years"
You will accept:
a)certificate issued by shipper as indicated in bill of lading(L/C beneficiary)?
b)certificate issued by the signer of the bill of lading(carrier or carrier's agent) ?
Your help appreciated
thanks and ciao

generally speaking, i would accept a certificate from the shipper. whether a certificate from the carrier would be acceptable or not is a difficult question. i would have raise a discrepancy.
