latest shipment date?

If a L/C not state that the latest shipment date, can i consider L/C expiry date is latest shipment date?

yes. you are right. however i think it would be very difficult to prepare the shipping document on the same day of shipment if the shipment is made on the expiry date.

moreover if expiry date falls into non banking days it continues until the first business date
but shipment not
