INCOTERMS

Post by vijay » Wed Apr 07, 2010 4:09 pm

Dear All,

I received one LC from our buyer stating FOB CHENNAI AIRPORT in the field 45A - which is mentioned alongwith the discription.

Also mentioned in 47A as "incoterm of this LC submitted to incoterms 2000 of ICC paris".

In this case pls confirm which way I have to mention on the LC incoterms:

a. FOB CHENNAI AIRPORT OR
b. FOBC CHENNAI AIRPORT INCOTERMS 2000

Regards/Vijay

i really dont understand FOBC. what does it mean. by the way, i think the incoterm should be FCA and not FOB.

Agreed with berry, FOB is only use for sea port to sea port.
