Dear,
Since the insurance effective date is 02.02.09, it might not be acceptable despite insurance document containing warhouse to warhouse clause.

Dear friends ! As per UCP 600 2007 Rev. Art. 28 e (first half) says that: quote:"The Date of the insurance document MUST BE NO LATER than the date of shipment,..."Unquote.
So in Your case date of issue of insurance is latest Feb 01, 2009, earlier is acceptable.

UCP 600 Art. 28e reads completely: quote"The date of the insurance document must be no longer than the date of shipment, unless it appears from the insurance document that the cover is effective from a date not later than the date of shipment." unquote. I hope this helps further on. Rgds LCStudent.

Dear Edilee ! Well, i have to concede - this sentence seems not quite clear now while reading again and again.
But for daily business I would insist for a date on insurance document as per B/L to avoid any late beginning of insurance.
I think it is furthermore unclear, if a warehouse to warehouse clause covers the difference of date of receipt of goods through carrier ex warehouse and effective time/date of insurance. Other views appreciated. Rgds LCStudent.
