UCP 600 does not require discrepancy message to be sent by SWIFT. the requirement is telecommunication or other expeditious means. email therefore qualifies. in fact sometimes its the best choice. for example when you have a direct presentation from a beneficiary abroad, email is the best idea.

It's a new point,never thought of this before.
