full set insurance

dear all

Is it necessary for insurance policy or certificate to show no.of original issued,in case l/c require for more than one original.

For your best guidance pls review art.28b of UCP 600. Viceversa still applies given the structure of the credit as indicated by youl. It is a customary practice that insurance company will issue an insurance document indicating no. of original issued (in case issue more than one original) either by ' this policy was issued in 2 originals' or within content to stated that original and duplicate have been issued' . This is for its protection.

Dear Christian

I have ever seen insurance policy that do not show no.of original issue, if l/c require insurance policy in duplicate.is it make discrepancy?

If the insurance policy presented in duplicate without showing no.of original issue,this will not be taken as a discrepancy.
There is no such requirement in UCP.
