Hi,
What is the definition of "Without delay" stated in Article 11 of UCP ?

The WP was aware that some National Committees had expressed the view that the term "without delay" should be clearly defined, while others suggested that a specific number of banking days ranging from 5 to 7 be inserted in its place.
The WP carefully considered this view but decided to leave the term unchanged for the following reasons:
a. The insertion of a specific number of days would unnecessarily complicate the rule and it was felt that introduction of a number of days in UCP 500 was in a different context;
b. The term "without delay" has been used in UCP 500 without further definition and therefore there was no particular need to define the term here.
