Dear all,
A l/c is restricted the availability to a bank while the docs. presented by another one to the issuing bank, are these docs. discrepant provided that sub-article 6a states that 'a credit available with a nominated bank is also available with the issuing bank.'?

Hi Pal,

IMHO this is not discrepant, but avoiding presentation to the nominated bank, you bear all risks about so called "Lost in transit clause".By presenting correct documents to the nominated bank all risks pass to issuing(confirming too) bank.
