If Beneficiary Certificate shown in LC additional condition field, is it a non-documary condition and disregard it or not?

Hi Pal,

it depends on the wording, the l/c must be clear in listing the required documents.
-Certificate of origin, is quite clear,
-Goods must be of European Origin, is ambiguos.
However to avoid dispute it is better to present a certificate.

No matter where the requirement for presentation of such a certificate is shown, whether under 46 or 47A, the condition would remain as documentary and would be required to be presented.
