Is there a risk for applicant to accept discrepancy 1/3 bl presented instead of full set . Your comments appreciated

1/3 Bill of lading

HI Pal.

IMHO , it depend on the name of consignee, if it is a bank, or directly consigned to you, etc...
Your forwarder may advise you properly. Sometime it is possible totrack and trace containerand bill of lading in Internet and see if the cargo has been delivered.

I think the applicant can require the BL made out to the order of issuing bank to reduce risk
