Hi Pal,

For some products it is possible to quote two different delivery terms, linked to prompt shipment or other.
Some contracts may require shipment by vessel on CIF basis or by air on FCA basis, at different prices or different periods of dispatch.
No problem, if the l7c is correctly worded.
Other comments appreciated

Two Inco Terms are frequently used!

Different INCO terms can be used in a l/c if transport mode is different like sea and air. But for the same mode of transport two different types of INCO terms can't be used.

When two Incroterms will be used like CIF for sea & FCA for air under a single LC then will be the delivery point and when risks will be transferred from expoter to importer.

Hi Pals,

it may happens that the l/C will require incoterms CFR if goods shipped not later than .. and CIF if shipped later.
All is possible!!

Had such a case.

I had such a case in practice, when there were 2 options in delivering goods.
By air or By sea, accordingly docs have to be presented, Air waybill in case By air and B/L in case By sea.
So incoterms where different too, FCA in case by Air, CIF in case by Sea.

Hope it helps.
