LC Is Already Confirmed By Bank, Can We Request For An Amendment Still?

Hi,

I've recently been handling LC's. My question is once the LC is confirmed by the confirming bank, can the seller/exporter request for any more amendments on the LC?

Hi Pal,

confirming bank may extend its undertaking on amendments, artt 9e and 10 b UCP 600.

A confirmed LC can be amended but here comfirming bank agreement os need in addition to issuing bank and beneficiary.
