Certificate Of Origin Is Required For Local LC

Is Certificate of Origin required as a part of the document in the Local LC? Especially, when the Customer does not insist for that?

Hi Pal,

if the goods are local goods or considered local; imported and paid customs duties etc, certificate of origin is not required, if not specifically requested by local law.

What documents required is subject to the local LC. Bank may have a policy to handle LC transaction.
