why 31d always mentioned in beneficiary country?

It is mandatory field but why beneficiary country inputing can you explain breif..

Hi Pal,

in field 31 may be indicated beneficiary's or another Country.(date and place of expiry)

Hy,

I guess you had such cases where Lc was available with Beneficiary's Bank and becasue of that you had in field 31D, expiry place beneficiary's country.
.
Often but not always , where credit is available there is the the place of expiry. But we have such cases when credit availability and expiry place differs.
